Create a thumbnail image and upload it to the Assets set of your website.
Video From External Services - Video thumbnails
By default external video will show the thumbnail imported at the time the video is added to DPG.
If you want to change this thumbnail, you have two options - reset the thumbnail from the original source or update a custom thumbnail in DPG.

Reset - get thumbnail from external service
Clicking the Reset button will contact the external service and fetch the current thumbnail set. If you have updated the thumbnail at the external service, use the reset feature to reflect this change in DPG.
Navigate to the video in the external video set. Open the Thumbnail panel and click the Reset button. The thumbnail will be replaced with the current thumbnail from the external service.
Update - add custom thumbnail in DPG
You can upload a custom thumbnail in DPG. This can be useful if you are adding videos from multiple external sources and want to make them all look regular in Index View of a gallery page.
Once uploaded, go to the thumbnail image Review screen. Open the Embed code panel and copy the Secure URL.
Navigate to the video in the external video set. Open the Thumbnail panel and paste the Secure URL in the Thumbnail URL text box. Click Update.
You will now see the custom thumbnail on your Video page.
